klar. is licensed to you, not sold, through the Mac App Store. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies, so there is nothing extra to sign.
Purchase and subscription
Try klar. free for 7 days. After that, choose a monthly or yearly subscription, or buy it once. The one-time purchase includes Family Sharing and future Mac updates.
Apple handles payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Your files
Your documents are yours. klar. reads and writes ordinary Markdown files in the folder you choose; we claim no rights to them and keep no copy.
klar. keeps versions while you write, but versions are not a backup. Keep copies of what matters.
The demo
The editor on this website is a demonstration. Nothing you type is saved or sent anywhere; it is gone when you close or reload the page.
