Where are my documents?
In the folder you chose, as ordinary .md files – on your Mac, in iCloud Drive or anywhere else. Any other editor can open them.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Purchases use your Apple Account.
What does klar. need?
A Mac with macOS 26 or later. The app is in English; this website and the App Store listing also come in German.
How does pricing work?
7 days free, then a monthly or yearly subscription, or a single purchase. The one-time purchase includes Family Sharing and future Mac updates. You manage subscriptions in your Apple Account.
How do I move my folder to iCloud Drive?
In Finder, drag the workspace folder into iCloud Drive, then choose Settings › General › Change… and pick the folder at its new location. Nothing about your files changes.
Can I get an earlier draft back?
Yes. Press ⌥⌘Y to open Versions, compare earlier drafts and restore any of them.
